Sandra Gayle Holland Freling, 66, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home at 12 Noon. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11 AM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, with Reverend Al Rhodes officiating. She is survived by her husband, Carl Freling, children and their families: Heidi Wentz, her son-in-law Trei Wentz and their children Brady and Bo Wentz; Gretchen Witt and son-in-law Jason Witt and their son Abe Witt. Sandra Gayle Holland Freling was born on March 29, 1948 in Chamblee, Georgia to the late Edna Mae Holland and William Clyde Holland. She loved her family and she loved to travel. She loved the beach and her favorite place was the family condo in Florida. She was a wonderful mother, wife and educator. She will leave a legacy that will endure forever.
