Germaine McGrath, age 92 of Canton, GA, passed away on March 31st, 2014, at Canton Nursing Center. A memorial service is being held on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at the Catholic Church of Our Lady Lasallette at 12 Noon. The family will be accepting friends from 11 AM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. Survivors include Husband, John McGrath of Canton, GA; Daughter, Kathleen Locke of Canton, GA; Grandsons, Ryan Locke and Jonathan Locke of Atlanta, GA; Great-Grandchildren, Margaret Locke and Calvin Locke of Atlanta, GA. Mrs. McGrath was known as an accomplished seamstress and a cook. She was also very family-oriented. Mrs. McGrath cherished time with her family, especially her two beloved Grandsons. She attended all their sporting events and school functions. Upon her husband's retirement, they split their time between Waterbury, CT, and Venice, FL; eventually moving to Annapolis, MD to be near their grandsons.
