Andrew Reams's Obituary

Andrew Nicholas Reams of Canton, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly June 2, 2012.  He was thirty-one years old, the beloved son of Joe Ted and Carol Reams and brother of Julie O'Connell (Ryan).  He was the grandson of Norval and Elaine Biggs, and Claude and Lucille Reams, and, honorary grandson of Jim and Harriet Sladek, all of whom preceded him in death.  He is survived by the love of his life, Zsuzsanna Janosy, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Andrew was a graduate of Centennial High School in Roswell, Georgia State University, and Emory School of Law, and, a member of MENSA and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.  He was a talented musician who greatly enjoyed playing his guitar, his trumpet, and the piano, and who truly appreciated a wide variety of music.  Andrew was an avid photographer and ardent world traveler.  He thoroughly enjoyed economics, philosophy, and cutting-edge technology, but especially enjoyed riding his sport bikes.  Andrew endured debilitating depression for most of his adult life, but will be lovingly remembered by family and friends alike for his strength and love for adventure, his gentle tenderness, and his innate goodness.  The family will receive friends on June 15, 2012, from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. at North Point Community Church, 4350 North Point Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30022, followed by a memorial service there at 12:00 noon.  Interment will be in the Macedonia Memorial Park.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
