Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend
Survived by his wife of 65 years, Lois;
4 daughters and son-in-laws:
Maryann & Phil Casciano
Cathey & Frank Donaruma
Carolynn & Robert Casey
Barbara & Paul Dziedzic
Nine grandchildren who loved their Pop! Frank, James and Joseph Donaruma; Christopher Reed; PJ Casciano; Ashley, Taylor and Steven Casey and Luke Dziedzic.
Nine adoring great-grandchildren who called him Artie: Juliana, Franky, Vanessa, Kayla, Jimmy, Ruby, Autumn, Dominic and Reagan.
As well as many extended nieces and nephews who love him like a dad.
Art has had many professional accomplishments in his successful career as an Engineer, but nothing compares to his influence as a Patriarch of a large, loving family and loyal husband and friend. A Korean War Veteran, Record Producer, Transportation expert and family man, Art was dedicated, hardworking and loyal.
He loved taking care of his lawns and gardens, always the best-kept yard in the neighborhood. We know God's gardens are greener with more beautiful color now that Art is there.
His smile, humor and amazing head of hair attracted people of all types to him. Everyone considered him their friend. Always a wave and smile and an extra front porch chair with an open invitation to come chat. People could sit with him for hours sharing jokes and stories – no one was a stranger.
He and his wife raised their family in New Jersey before heading south for warmer weather. He is a loved and active member of Hickory Flat United Methodist Church in Canton, Georgia and previously at First United Methodist Church in Alexander City, Alabama.
HIs abundance of unconditional love permeates through all of his family, friends and acquaintances. With always a smile and a joke, many lives are forever blessed by being touched by his.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital
