Audrey Karen Wiegand was born September 22,1998 in Atlanta, GA and passed away June 28, 2022 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. She was a longtime resident of Canton, GA and lived presently in Adairsville.
Audrey was always an animal lover and loved sports. She played softball as a young child, basketball throughout her teens and met many lifelong friends playing sports. She was blessed with a great sense of humor and always knew how to make you laugh. At the age of 5 she met her best and lifelong friend DeShawna Salmon. They were like sisters. She spent several years enjoying her beloved horse Smoke and adored her dog Diesel. She worked hard her whole life to overcome mental health issues. During this time she achieved her GED, met and helped others going through the same issues, and was baptized after accepting Jesus Christ as her savior. Audrey had a kind and gentle soul, was a true friend and would do anything for her family and friends. She was also quick to help strangers in need. At the end of her life she gave the ultimate gift by donating her organs. She was able to save 5 lives, one of them a teenager, in addition to enriching others' lives with her donation.
She is survived by her mother and father, Kurt & Jennifer Wiegand; 2 younger brothers Jakob and Joshua Wiegand; aunt and uncle Anthony & Missy Ambro and their 2 sons, cousins Kyle and David; all of Canton, GA. Her grandmother and grandfather, Laurie & Tom Ambro of Adairsville, GA; aunt and uncle Debby & Douglas Silvia; great grandmother Sylvia Hanson; all of Woodstock GA; a grandfather Walter Wiegand and aunt Vicki Ambro from Connecticut, as well as her girlfriend Megan Raley, her support cat Pie Pie, and her pup Diesel.
