Born on November 14, 1942 in Nashville, Tenn. Died on Sept. 28th in her home in Waleska, Georgia with her loving husband Dan Blancato by her side.
Born to parents Mable and William Vaden and raised by her mother and her stepfather Hubert Lowry, all preceded her in death. She has three siblings, Brother William Vaden (Rita both deceased, wife Judith), Sister Anne (Joe)Russell, and Brother Ken (Diane) Lowry. Children: Daughter Kimberly (Bill deceased) Kazy, Son Gregory (Scarlett) King, Stepchildren Lisa (Rafat Abonour) Blancato, John (Sonya) Blancato. Grandchildren: Jessica Pepper, Madeline (Justin) McClune, Coleman Burns, Isabella Burns, Lydia Blancato, and Micah Blancato. And many loving relatives.
Celebration of Life will be held at Shoal Creek Baptist Church, 4967 Fincher Rd., Canton, Georgia 30114 on October 19, 2024, at 12:30 pm. Lunch served following service.
Beverly accepted Christ at 12 years old and was baptized at Genwood Baptist Church in Nashville, Tenn. She had a storied career starting as lead interior designer for several J.C. Penny stores in the Atlanta area. She then, worked 30 years for Sears. She started out selling tools to factories and mechanics at all the Atlanta airports. She moved up to selling Appliances to builders in Atlanta. Beverly earned the respect of her colleagues and home builders, earning the honor of being the first woman appointed to the Board of Directors, leading to being on the Executive Committee for the Atlanta Home Builders.
After retiring from her career with Sears, she worked six years for a financial planner.
Earlier in her children's life she loved being a team mom for the little league teams. Church was an important part of her life and she met Dan at Rehoboth Baptist Church. Having served at a number of churches in the Atlanta area, led her at age 60 to her ultimate calling of mentoring women in leading a Christ filled life.
Her life verse is Acts 20:24.
"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace."
