Carol Jean Radebaugh Blalock passed away peacefully on March 25, 2020. Carol was born on November 5, 1928 in Atlanta, GA and spent most of her formative years in Walworth, WI surrounded by extended family. She married LCDR Homer V. Blalock, Jr. in September 1949 while on scholarship at The High Museum of Art School. In their early married years, Carol loved and respected her role as a Navy spouse. Known for her kindness and grace, she was an artist/painter, mother, retail manager, and bridge player.

She is survived by her four children and their families: Diane Mauthe and husband Captain John Mauthe, USN, Clifton, VA; Gwen Hirsch and husband Dave Hirsch, Cowan Heights, CA; Dr. Andrew Blalock, Atlanta, GA; and Tim Blalock and wife Jennifer, Winston, GA. Grandchildren: Eric Mauthe and fiancée Eleanor Blankenship, Dr. Tim Mauthe and wife Caitlin and their two children, Clara and Murray; Chris Mauthe, Patrick McCarthy (in memoriam), Susan Blalock and fiancé Max Vanhoose, and Timothy Blalock, Jr. and fiancée Baylee Wise.
