Obituary

Carol Francine Klaus, 76, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Northside Hospital Cherokee due to complications from multiple organ failure. Carol was born on April 21, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Mimi Ellison. After relocating with her husband and children to Atlanta, Georgia, she sustained a successful career in fashion for more than 30 years at Saks Fifth Avenue. Upon retirement, Carol was able to explore her avid interests in travel and visited dozens of countries across many corners of the globe. She was an active member of her community, participating in clubs involving cooking and cards, as well as the Shalom Club. Greatest of all, Carol was committed to her family and friends, always exemplifying the love she felt for them through her constant care and affection. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Allan, sons, Robert and Marc, daughter-in-law, Kathy, grandchildren, Chase and Camryn, and brother, Richard.
