Carolyn Sackhoff Khalid passed away on Saturday October 29, 2016 in Canton, GA. She is survived by her husband Imtiaz Khalid, her son Omar Khalid, her daughter Saira Rodgers, her grandsons Jacob and Miles Rodgers.
Carolyn was born in Kissimmee, FL and grew up in St. Cloud, FL. She graduated from Florida State University in 1964 and taught many years in California and Florida. After settling in Cherokee County she worked with Special Needs Children until she retired. She loved to travel and spent many days visiting countries in Europe. She enjoyed Bible studies and attended Baptist Church of Woodstock. The funeral will be held at 2:00PM Saturday November 5, 2016 from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the funeral hour. The Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park, 10685 East Cherokee Drive, Canton, GA.
