Charles Franklin Dollar age 76 of Canton, GA passed away Friday March 17, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Thursday March 23, 2017 from the Canton First United Methodist Church with Reverend Jim McRae officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the funeral hour. Interment with Navy Honors will follow at 2:30PM in the Georgia National Cemetery.
Born October 4, 1940 to Mother; Annie Long Dollar and Father; Luther Dollar, Charles Dollar was a 1958 graduate of Tucker High School and graduate of Georgia State University. After his service in the Navy he was employed by D.M. Weatherly Co., Jonathan Cate Co. as well as Versace. He was the owner of Dollar Bookstore, Limited Edition and P.K.G.'s. He was a member of the singing group Men of Sol and Vice President of a national cooking club, Les Marmitons.
He is survived by his wife; Judy Dollar, Canton, GA, sons; Mark (Leslie) Dollar, Russelville, AR, Chris (Melissa) Evans, Bend, OR, daughter; Ashley (Derek) Rosenkoetter, Atlanta, GA, sisters; Annette (Robert) Milford, Tucker, GA, Ferrell Dutton, Cumming, GA, 12 grandchildren; Caroline Dollar, Molly Kate Dollar, Abigail Dollar, Elijah Dollar, Ezekiel Dollar, Isabella Dollar, Jessica Evans, Marley Evans, Hatcher Rosenkoetter, Finley Rosenkoetter, Shala Weiker, Jolene Weiker, great grandchild; Brooklyn Gonzales.
