Dale Robert Flores SR. age 74 was born January 10, 1943 in Ruchsville, PA. He was the son of Dorothy Gantz Fehnel. He passed into eternal rest on January 19, 2017 at his home in Canton, GA. He waged a valiant fight to defeat his cancer.
Dale, a veteran of the United States Navy, owned Flores Air Conditioning Inc. in Catasauqua, PA for 38 years. He was Past Master of Barger Lodge #333 now Greenleaf Lodge #561. He was also a member of Lehigh Consistory and The Knights Templar all of Allentown, PA. He was a Whitehall Township Commissioner. He was also a member of Hickory Flat United Methodist Church.
For many years he spent his winters in Highlands Ridge of Sebring, FL. He loved to travel, to read, play cards, play golf, but most of all the game of Pickelball. He also loved his dogs, with the last one being Toby.
He is fondly survived by his wife ; Ann Deiley Flores for the past 44 years. Other family members are Dale Flores Jr. & Jane Berry and sons; Dale III and Paul, Kevin Flores and Sandie Brown and sons Stephen, Eric and Kevin Jr., Christopher Flores & Dawn Flores and children Shelby, Calista and Andrew, daughter-in-law Lisa and children Wesley, Justin and Patricia. He had one brother, Richard (Bonnie) Flores. He had 5 half brothers and sisters and 8 great grandchildren. Three nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy, sister Patricia Flores and son, Daryl Richard Flores. Dale lived an admirable life and he will be loved and missed by many people. Peace be with you.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers a contribution to a charity of your choice.
