David Lloyd Cummings, age 82 of Ball Ground, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at his residence. Visitation will be held at Darby Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 2:30p.m. A private Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Cummings was a man of integrity, he loved his Lord and his family. He was a pioneer of the poured cement walls in the Atlanta, GA area. He is survived by his wife, Mary Cummings of Ball Ground, sons, David (Lori) Cummings of Canton, Paul (Noel) Cummings of Canton, Maxwell "Bucky" Cummings of Canton, Donald (Ria) Cummings of Woodstock, and Steven (Ariel) Cummings of Canton, daughters, Debra Johnson of Springfield, MO., Susan (Jon) Odom of Springfield, MO., Julie (Rick) Gingell of Branson, MO., Anita (Paul) Hastings of Waleska, and Diana (John) Cavender of Canton. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren also survive.
