Edwin Henry Milford, 83 of Ranger, GA., passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Edwin served in the Army 82nd Airborne Division. He retired from General Motors in Doraville after working there for forty-two years. He loved reading, music, gardening, engine repair, and working. Edwin also loved helping his many dear friends.
He was born April 24, 1941, to Henry and Ozelle Milford. He was preceded in death by Turk, Norma and Michael Milford of Canton, GA., Evelyn and Bill Stafford of Cartersville, GA., Max, Betty Jean and Keith Milford of Canton, GA., and Wendell and David Holcomb of Marietta, GA.
Edwin is survived by his wife of 56 years, Faye Milford, his son, Mark and Cindy Milford, his daughter, Amy Gwinn, his grandchildren, Cameron Milford, Emily Milford, Annie Gwinn, Millie Gwinn, and his brother-in-law, Milton Holcomb. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice in his memory.

The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home Wednesday, September 18th from 10:30am - 12:30pm. A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at Georgia National Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Rix Threadgill officiating.
