Eva Cox Davis, age 91 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. The family will receive friends at Cherokee Memorial Park on Saturday, October 2nd from 12:30pm-1:00pm where she will lie in state. A graveside service will follow at the cemetery at 1pm.
Mrs. Davis was the wife of Reverend Charles Davis for 73 years. She was a graduate of Reinhardt College. She served as the Past President of Pink Ladies Hospital Auxiliary at R.T. Jones Hospital. In 1978, she founded Little One's Early Learning Center, a ministry of Canton Community Church which is still nurturing lives today.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her son, Skip John Harvey Davis, and her daughter, Elaine Thomason. She is survived by:
Husband - Reverend Charles Davis of Canton
Daughter - Linda (Charles) Rolen of Canton
Daughter - Charlene Hasty of Canton
Daughter - Carol (Jack) Ridings of Canton
Son-In-Law - Gene Thomason of Canton
9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive.
