Gary Allen Bales, age 56 of Fairmount, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Wellstar Kennestone. Private services will be held at a later date. He is survived by daughter, Sarah Bales of Binghamton, NY; brothers, David Bales of Apopka, FL, Lonnie Pelfrey of Pigeon Forge, TN; Sisters, Sheilla Corbin of Jasper, Lisa Rodebush of Woodstock; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations go to the Georgia Transplant Foundation, 500 Sugar Mill Rd, Suite 170A, Atlanta, GA 30350 in memory of Gary. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of t he arrangements.
