Geraldine Satterfield, age 87 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13th from 1-4pm. The funeral will be in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13th at 4pm with Rev. Jake Webster officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. She is survived by:
Husband - Arnold Satterfield of Canton
Son - Jim (Angela) Satterfield of Canton
Son - John (Crickett) Satterfield of Ball Ground
Daughter - Lynette Blackwell of Jasper
Daughter - Elaine Dotson of Tucker
Ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Geraldine recently lived in Cherokee County but previously lived in Dekalb and Gwinnett Counties. She was a member of Sixes United Methodist Church. The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to Sixes United Methodist Church. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Satterfield family.
