Grant Phillips Mahan, age 88 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Manor Care Rehab in Marietta.

The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 2:00PM in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 1:30PM.

Mr. Mahan is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean Mahan, and grandson, Gareth Mahan. He is survived by his son, Phillip (Lisa) Mahan of Canton, Daughters, Cindy (Mike) Ragozzine of Acworth, Becky (Jim Bailey) Mahan of Sandy Springs, Brother, Bill Mahan of Decatur, Sister, Mary Ann McCurdy of Smyrna, and 5 loving grandchildren, Anna Landreville, Molly Landreville, Jacob Ragozzine, Patrick Ragozzine, and Isabella Ragozzine.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
