Huey Hamby Reece (Papa) age 91 of Woodstock, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his Father Ardele and Mother Flossie along with Brothers: Marvin Reece and Buddy Reece, Sisters: Montez Barnes, Jessie Hardy and Margaret Holtzclaw and great grandson Colton Lawson Reece Dobson.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Inez Reece, Woodstock, GA, Daughters Cathy (Gerald) Dobson, Ball Ground GA, Karen (Dan) Sosnowski, Woodstock, GA and Debbie (Craig) Wold, Canton GA, Son, Ken (Linda) Reece, Woodstock, GA., Sister Becky Hensley, Conyers, GA, and Brother Robert Reece, Lithia Springs, GA. 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday November 23, 2021 from the Rock Springs Baptist Church where he served many years as Deacon. Rev Pete Martin, Rev Josh Dobson and Rev Jonathan Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Tuesday 11:00 AM until 1:00PM.
