Rev. J.L. Blalock age 91 of Canton, GA passed away peacefully Tuesday October 11, 2016. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00AM Friday October 14, 2016 from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Interment following in the Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Gayton and Rev. Ronnie Loner will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00AM - 9:00PM Wednesday October 12, Thursday October 13 and 9:00AM until the funeral hour on Friday.
Rev. Blalock is survived by his son; James (Jan) Blalock, Canton, GA, daughter; Linda Ann (Ron) McHone, Dallas, GA, 4 Grandchildren, Brian (Dee) Blalock, Emily (Reece) Reinhart, Candy (Eddie) Thackston, Andy (Nicholae) Cromer, 14 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Clyde Laura Blalock, brothers; Howard Blalock, Horace Blalock, Eugene Blalock, Arlo Blalock, Jess Blalock and sister, Hazel Blalock. In lieu of flowers donations are to be made to Sharptop Masonic Lodge #680, Sharptop, GA. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is Honored to serve the Blalock Family.
