Jack Harbin, age 80 of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on April 24, 2014 at Wellstar-Kennestone Hospital. Mr. Harbin retired from the Unites States Navy, and from the Cherokee Town & Country Club. The Harbin family will be accepting friends on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 3 PM until 6 PM. A funeral service for Jack Harbin will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home, with Reverend Charles Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. Survivors include Daughter, Rhonda Harbin of White, GA; Son, Steven Harbin of White, GA; Son and Daughter-In-Law, Douglas and Judy Harbin of Ranger, GA; Brother, Otis and Myrna Harbin of Canton, GA; Sister, Mary Alice Melloy of Woodstock, GA; several nieces and nephews; Grandson, Benjamin Harbin, Granddaughter, Amanda Harbin, Granddaughter, Kaylee Harbin. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these funeral arrangements.
