James Levi Cline Sr. of Waleska, GA died on Monday November 24, 2014 at the age of 88. Mr. Cline was a life-long resident of Waleska, graduated Reinhardt College, and served in the US Navy during WWII. He will be remembered as the postmaster for 30 years and a member of the Waleska Masonic Lodge #57. He had been a member of the Waleska Baptist Church since 1940 and had served as a deacon for many years.
Mr. Cline was preceded in death by his parents, Levi & Bessie Cline; his brothers, Joe and Jack Cline; his wife, Peggy Nally Cline; and a son, Judge James (Jimmy) Levi Cline Jr. He is survived by his grandson, James (J.) Levi Cline III of Greensboro, GA and great grandchild James Levi Cline IV as well as close family, friends and loved ones in Waleska.


Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday November 30, 2014 at the Chapel of the Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Davis and Rev. Aaron Land officiating. Interment will be in Cherokee Memorial Park. Waleska Masonic Lodge # 57 F & AM is in charge of graveside services. Family will also receive friends on Saturday 4pm -8pm and Sunday 12pm - 1pm.


Flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made to Waleska First Baptist Church or Waleska Masonic Lodge #57. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
