Jane Smith Seay, age 71 of Canton, Georgia, died suddenly on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Jane, our mom, left this world way too soon.

At Reinhardt College, she met and married the love of her life. Their love endured for over 50 years.

She left behind a legacy of love, devotion, and wisdom. Her days after retiring from her 40-year career were filled doing what she enjoyed most. She loved all things sports, with Braves as her favorite. She loved our trips to the beach. She loved HGTV shows. She loved her sweet tea and her white powdered donuts.

There is no doubt that of all the holidays Christmas was her favorite!

All in all, she deeply loved her family the most. Her love was unwavering and ever present. Her laugh was contagious. Her voice was quiet but powerful. The special memories we have of her will forever be in our hearts.

We must believe, as Mom said, "This too shall pass."

We will miss and love you forever.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Darby Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. A graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 12:30pm.

Daughters and son-in-law's, Christy (Mike) Flynn of Jasper, Georgia and Alli (Luke) Zabinski of Brookhaven, Georgia
Grandchildren, Charlie Zabinski, Leo Seay, Lilli Zabiniski & Henry Zabinski
Brother- Bill (Deborah) Smith of Atlanta, Georgia
and sister, Carlene Stamps of Atlanta, Georgia
