Mr. Jimmy C. Blalock, 73 of Canton, passed away on March 15, 2015 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Visitation services will take place at Darby Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6-9 PM, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 10AM-9PM, and Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 10AM-1PM. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2 PM at North Canton Baptist Church. Reverend Horace Richards, Reverend Johnny Padgett, Reverend Leroy Kelley, and Reverend Kent Samples will be officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. Mr. Blalock is survived by wife Joyce Blalock of Canton, GA; daughter and son-in-law Valerie and Ben Kononen of Cotopaxi, CO; granddaughter Mary Jane Kononen of Cotopaxi, CO; several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws; also several nieces and nephews. He was a Deacon of North Canton Baptist Church and retired from Lockheed in Marietta, Georgia.
