Joanne Della Jordan's Obituary
JoAnne Della Jordan, age 64 of Canton, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 24th at 10:00a.m. at Canton First United Methodist Church in the McFather Chapel with Reverend Coy Hinton officiating.
Mrs. Jordan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a very active member of Canton First United Methodist Church. She retired from Piedmont Water and Gas in Piedmont, Alabama after over twenty years of service.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Amy Early, and her brother, Robert I. Scanlin.
She is survived by:
Husband - Joseph D. Jordan of Canton
Daughter - Patricia (Brian) Franklin of Piedmont, AL.
Daughter - Susan (Don) Rochester of Centre, AL.
Daughter - Pamela Gossett of Centre, AL.
Son-In-Law - Timothy Early of Aiken, S.C.
Brother - Paul (Denise) Scanlin of Amarillo, TX.
Brother - Thomas E. (Tommye) Scanlin of Dahlonega
Sister - Jean S. Wright of Eatonton
Grandchild - Chase A. Gossett
Grandchild - Laura Rochester
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Canton First United Methodist Church Family Fund.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
