John Albert Barton, age 66 of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 from 4PM-6PM at Darby Funeral Home. Graveside service is scheduled for Monday, March 4 from Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211. Mr. Barton is survived by his wife Patty Barton of Canton, GA; Sister and brother-in-law, Pat & John Petherbridge of Jacksonville, FL; Nieces, Lori Allen of Jacksonville, FL, Lisa Petherbridge of Los Angeles, CA, Leanne Moye of Planto, TX. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the American Heart Association. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
