John DeForge Farrell age 90 of Woodstock, GA, formerly of Warren, NJ passed away Monday February 13, 2017.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30AM March 25, 2017 from Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church (Chapel),
Warren, NJ with Father Sean W. Kenney officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Warren, NJ.
Mr. Farrell was a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne in WWII and the 101st in Korea. He was also a member of the American Legion and Warren Historic Sites Committee.
Mr. Farrell is survived by his daughter; Jill (Mark) Fairchild, Woodstock, GA, brother; William (Debra) Farrell, Plantation, FL, sisters; Peggy Dove, Whiting, NJ, Doralu Yurkovitch, Warren, NJ, 4 grandchildren; Ryan Govern (Tricia), Jena Desiderio (Logan), Carlee Fairchild, Brooke Fairchild, great grandchild; Emily Govern. He is preceded in death by his wife; Mabel Farrell, son; John Farrell and daughter; Judi Desiderio.
