"Johnny" Wesley Watson Jr., age 50 of Ball Ground, passed away on December 21, 2015 at Northside Cherokee. Visitation for Mr. Watson will take place on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 10 am until 2 pm, and from 4 pm until 8 pm at Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will also take place on Thursday, December 24, 2015 from 10 am until 1 PM at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Buster Stapp, Marty Jennings, and Dwayne Spicer will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Union Hill United Methodist Church. Survivors include wife Annette Watson of Ball Ground, Ga; son Josh & Jackelyn Watson of Jasper, Ga; daughter Danielle McFarland of Jasper, Ga; brother Ted & Nancy Watson of Ball Ground, Ga; sister Jan & Danny Richards of Talking Rock, Ga; sister Ginny & Kenny Collett of Jasper, Ga; two grandchildren also survive: Jackson Watson and Chase Edwards.
