Major Kyle Tafel's Obituary
Major Kyle Tafel, age 36 of Smyrna, GA, passed away on June 12, 2017 in Russia. A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Survivors include father and mother Kevin & Nancy Tafel of Helen, GA; brother Kory Ryan Tafel of Lula, GA; sister Nicole Rae Powell of Lexington, KY; nephews Kamden and Hudson Tafel of Lula, GA; niece Elise Powell of Lexington, KY; and a host of aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rotary Club, P.O. Box 3456, Cleveland, GA 30528. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Tafel Family.
