Mary "Juanita" Askew, 83of Ball Ground, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Visitation will be Friday, August 19th at Darby Funeral Home from 9am to 10:30am. The funeral will be at 10:30 in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Mr. Robert Barber officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30pm at Georgia National Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hill Askew, Jr., her son - Duane Hilton Askew, her grandson, Joshua Askew, her father, Thomas Carl Champion, her mother, Ruth Woody Champion, and her brother, Thomas (Tommy) William Champion.
