Mary "Carole" Ingram, 78, transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Carole was born in Atlanta, Georgia daughter of the late Leonard & Eloise Winters. She was a loving homemaker for many years and when her children were grown, she went to work as a paraprofessional in special education with Cobb County Schools, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout her life, Carole took the great pleasure in reading, shopping and having coffee with friends & family. Carole was a thoughtful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to share life with her.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Lamar Ingram. Survived by her two children, Michael (Tami) Ingram of Temple, GA and Tracie (Bill) Doerler of Warrenton, VA; Three brothers, Gene Winters of Florida, Lee Winters (Toni) of Sandy Springs, GA, Larry (Robin) Winters of Lithia Springs, GA and a sister, Patricia Winters of Tucker, GA; four grandchildren, Montana and Lizzie Ingram; Blake and Taylor Doerler.

A memorial service will be held on August 4, 2022, at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, Ga., 1pm-2pm and visitation will be between 12pm-1pm. The interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
