Mary Elizabeth Russo, age 82 of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. She will be interred at Georgia National Cemetery. She is survived by:

Son - James Russo of Los Luna, NM.
Daughter - Marilyn Pierce of Marietta
Daughter - Jennifer (Michael) Cormier of Danbury, CT.
Daughter - Elizabeth Russo of Danbury, CT.
Daughter - Patricia (Brian) Irish of Newport, VT.
Daughter - Angela Russo of Marietta

Mary E. Russo, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend and angel on earth. Mary went to heaven, to be with the Lord in His glory. Mary was freed from her pain and illness in the early morning hours of April 15, 2020, and has gone to be with her husband Nick and her son Michael in heaven. Mary will be missed by all who knew her, especially her children and grandchildren. Mary always had a kind word to say, a hand to offer, a smile on her face and a song in her heart. She lived her life with strong faith and undying love, always leading by example and making a wonderful life for her family with whatever God gave her. The love and admiration she received from those around her will help us all to remember the kind, generous and beautiful person that she was here on earth. The family of Mary Elizabeth Russo is heartbroken but grateful for the life we all got to live with her, and the lessons and love she gave us.
