Obituary
Matthew Joseph Beebe, age 63, passed peacefully Friday, August 30, 2024 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.
Matt was born on March 10, 1961 in Joliet, Illinois, the youngest of Harold and Elizabeth Beebe's five children. He earned a degree from St. Francis College where he met his wife of 43 years, Marivic Maglasang Beebe. Matt was an avid technologist and devoted husband, father, and friend. He was the quintessential giver who generously shared the fruits of his life with all he knew.
Matt is survived and remembered by his wife, Marivic; his children, Thomas-John "TJ" Patrick Beebe and his spouse Lauren Soriano Beebe, Jacquelyn "Jacqui" Beebe Frey and her spouse John S. Frey IV; his four cherished grandchildren, John "Jack" S. Frey V, Darby RM Holcomb Frey, Colton James Beebe, and Isabel Nicole Beebe; his siblings Margaret, Thomas, Barbara, and Elizabeth "Betsy"; and large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Harold and Elizabeth Beebe.
