Michael S. Dagostino, age 69 of Canton, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at Wellstar-Kennestone Hospital. Loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, friend and proud Purple Heart veteran, Michael was the guy that everyone wanted around. Whether it was by telling a corny joke, singing the wrong lyrics to a song, or just by seeing his smiling face, he was able to brighten anyone's day. To those that knew him best, he was "Mikey." And to be "Mikey" was to be an entertainer, a source of love, knowledge, humor, strength and stoicism, all wrapped up in a larger-than-life character. There will only be one "Mikey," and as we remember him, we do so with a huge smile on his face and the warmest of hearts.
Mikey's favorite colored shirt to wear was yellow. He literally had about two dozen yellow polo shirts. So anything you could wear that is yellow would be a great way to pay tribute to a great man.
