Michael Glenn Shaver age 77 of Canton, GA formerly Deputy Fire Chief of Downers Grove, IL passed away Wednesday July 24, 2024.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife Rose Shaver, Canton, GA, sons Kevin Shaver, Canada, Michael Unruh, South Elgin, IL, daughter Judy Shaver, IL, Sara Mellstead, IL, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org .
The staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Shaver family.
