Mitchell Greene, 39 years old, of Bayside NY formerly of Canton, GA passed away on January 18, 2018 in New York.

Mitchell is a graduate of Sequoyah High School in Canton, GA in 1997. He is a graduate of Kennesaw State University in 2005 in Kennesaw, GA, wit a B.S. in Sociology. He is also a graduate of New York University with a MA in Psychology, where he had his private practice with Comprehensive Counseling LCW's. He was also Cornell Medical College's Research Manager for genetic medicine in New York. . He is also a member of New York State Psychological Association and licensed with NY. Mitchell was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church , in Ball Ground, GA
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday January 25, 2018 from the Liberty Baptist Church, Ball Ground, GA Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 AM - 8 PM and Thursday 10AM to Funeral Hour.

Mitchell is survived by his parents Teresa and Len Cagle, Canton, GA; sisters Amy Parks, Canton, GA, and Melinda and Justin Thomas, Jasper, GA; grandparents Rev. Buddy and Mary Roper, Canton, GA, and Albert Cagle, Canton, GA; nieces and nephews Allyson Schoen of Canton, Brittany Parks of Canton, Johnathan Parks of Canton, Jonah Thomas of Jasper; and 2-great nieces Ariah Schoen and Avalynn Schoen of Canton. Aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. He is preceded in death by his father Melvin Greene, grandmother Ardelphia Greene-Mulkey, grandmother Bernice Cagle, grandfather Haden Mulkey, and grandfather Mitchell W. Greene.
