Gene Brooke Anderson, age 76 of Ball Ground, GA passed away on September 15, 2014 at Wellstar-Kennestone Hospital. Visitation for Mr. Anderson will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 2 PM until 9 PM, and Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 9 AM until 9 PM. The funeral service will be on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Reverend Alan Ledford and Reverend Russell Nations will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Mr. Anderson is survived by wife, Betty Anderson of Ball Ground, GA; daughter and son-in-law Gena and E.C. Kelley of Fairmount, GA; daughter and son-in-law Anita and Michael Nations of Ball Ground, GA; and four grandchildren: Zachery Nations, Matthew Nations, Anderson Nations, and Brooke Kelley. The family is accepting flowers at this time, or donations may either be made to Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Cherokee Assembly #80 Rainbow Girls for Special Project Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta.
