Myrtle Ellen Cochran age 77 of Canton, GA passed away on Thursday October 26, 2017 at The Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, October 31, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Survivors are daughter Sherry Deach of Canton, GA; son and daughter-in-law Gary & Dara Hawkins of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters Gertrude Gee of Douglasville, GA, Jeanette Smallwood of Hiram, Ga, Janice Cox of Woodstock, GA, and Geneva Hamilton of Flowery Branch, GA; 2 grandchildren, James and Whitney, & 3 great-grandchildren, Rylie, Landon, and Reagan. She was predeceased by her son, Gregory Paul Hawkins; and her husband Robie Cochran. Flowers are being accepted at this time, or donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
