Mr. Neil Blanton Free,  age 86,  of Canton, GA died Friday,  February 19, 2010 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.  Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday,  February 21, 2010 from the Chapel of the Darby Huey Funeral Home.   Rev. Buddy Roper and Rev. Johnny Purcell will officiate.  Interment will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 3PM-8 PM. Survivors include  Daughter and Son-in-Law, Pat & Floyd O'Bryant, Canton, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-Law, Danny & Martha Free, Jasper, GA;  and Randy & Patsy Free, Union Pointe, GA;  Brothers, Max Free, Jasper, GA;  Bill Free, Jasper, GA; Leon Free, Gainesville, GA;  & Gene Free, Jasper, GA;  Sisters, Louise Chumley, Jasper, GA;  Marcell  Thacker,  Jasper, GA;  seven grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren.  Mr. Free  was a member of the Jerusulem Baptist Church in Jasper, GA  and retired   from Canton Textile Mills.
