Ned Lamar Womack, age 47 of Jasper, GA, passed away on January 4, 2015 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 12-9 PM, and Friday, January 9 10AM to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11 AM in the Darby Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Doug Lusk and Reverend George Callahan will be officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Union Cemetery. He is survived by wife Teresa Womack of Jasper, GA; daughter Megan Womack of Jasper, GA; step-son Austin Smith of Jasper, GA; father Buddy Womack of Canton, GA; mother Linda Womack of Canton, GA; sister Rachel Marie Cook of Canton, GA; sister Joanna Ruth Cox of Ball Ground, GA; two grandchildren Aubrey Smith and Austin Smith Jr. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is handling these funeral arrangements.
