Nellie Mae Lyon's Obituary
Nellie Mae Lyon age 85 of Ball Ground, GA passed away Friday July 3, 2020.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00PM Monday July 6, 2020 from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park. Reverend J.R. Smith and Reverend Robert Bryant will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday July 5, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM and Monday from 11:00AM until the funeral hour.
She is survived by her daughter; Sandra (Earl) Wilkie, Ball Ground, GA, brothers; Billy (Patsy) Tippens, Woodstock, GA, N.J. (Susan) Tippens, Canton, GA, sister; Linda Cornelison, Ball Ground, GA, 1 grandchild; Kevin (Hilary) Wilkie, 3 great grandchildren; Khyle Charles, Joanna Charles and Therese Wilkie, sisters in law; Patriciaq (Larry) Fowler, Ball Ground, GA, Mae Belle Anderson, Macon, GA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to
help fight Alzheimer's and dementia at https://act.alz.org/
The family also requests no live flowers at services.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lyon Family.
