Ola Darby Poole's Obituary
Ola Darby Poole, 100 of Waleska, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at her residence.
Visitation will be Monday, September 5th from 4-9pm and Tuesday, September 6th from 10am-9pm, and Wednesday, September 7th from 10am - 1pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, September 7th at 2pm at Little Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Poole, Rev. Jerry Sims, and Rev. Michael Hawthorne officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Poole was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Poole, and her two sons, Marvin Poole and Herman Poole.
She is survived by:
Daughter - Wanda (Ray) McNeese of Waleska
Daughter - Charlotte (Edward) Sims of Waleska
Daughter - Louise Burdine of Jasper
Son - Ronald (Linda) Poole of Waleska
Sister - Mildred Darby of Waleska
Brother - Horace Darby of Waleska
Brother - Tom Darby of Waleska
Special Friend - Dyanna Keith
13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren also survive.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Poole family.
