Navy veteran, Ralph Douglas Stafford, age 77, of Canton, GA passed away Monday January 12, 2015 at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday January 20, 2015 at 11:30AM from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and on Monday, January 19, 2015, from 10:00AM until 8:00PM at Darby Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery with full Naval Military Honors. He is survived by his wife,Margaret Stafford, Canton, GA and children: Terrence Stafford, Mobile, AL; Tim Stafford, Smithville, TN; Teresa Carlile, Fairmount, GA; Chris Stafford, Atlanta, GA; Jon Stafford, Woodstock, GA; and, Eric Stafford, Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his brother, James Stafford, IN, 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
