Robert "Bobby" Roper, age 54 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Tranquility @ Kennesaw Mt. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 3PM in Liberty Baptist Church, Ball Ground, GA with Rev. Rembert Hancock, Rev. Robert Allen and Rev. Buck Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 11AM-8:30 PM and Thursday, July 23 from 12 NOON-1:30PM. Mr. Roper is survived by his Wife, Digna Roper of Douglasville; Daughter, Melissa Roper of Ball Ground: Step-Son, Phil Littrell of Dallas, GA; Step-Daughter, Stephanie Mosley of Kennesaw; Parents, Rev. Buddy & Mary Roper of Canton; Brother, Rickey Doyle Roper of Gainesville; Sisters, Teresa Cagle of Canton and Anita Foster of Fairmount; Grandchildren, Ava and Brooklyn Mosley of Kennesaw; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Jerry & Darlene Green. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations go to help with funeral expenses. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
