It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Roger Edmund Groulx.
Our "Bubba" passed peacefully at home on Monday, September 11, 2023, surrounded by
family.  He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.

Roger was born on March 2, 1940, to Bruno and Sarah Groulx in Detroit, Michigan. After Roger
graduated from Royal Oak Kimball High School in 1958, he served in the Air Force traveling the
world playing baseball and training as an engineer.

Bubba started his first job at General Motors, kickstarting a 28-year career with GM.

In the fall of 1964 Roger met Barb Andrich on a blind date, set up by a mutual friend. Roger and
Barb raised three children, Roger, Pamela and Terry.

In 1992, Roger retired and relocated in 1993 from Michigan to Canton, Georgia.
Roger spent his time playing in the basement, doing yardwork, going out to eat with Barb,
tinkering in the garage, and beating his grandkids at pool and card games.
He had a passion for various sports, a deep appreciation for automobiles and handguns. A good
game of pool and cracking jokes were among Bubba's favorite pastimes.
Roger's laugh, smile, and distinctive gray hair were endearing features we will never forget.  Roger
Edmund Groulx, was a remarkable man, a devoted father, a loving husband, and a treasured
friend. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the memories we hold
dear.
Roger "our Bubba" you will be forever missed and always remembered.

Wife – Barbara Groulx of Canton
Son – Terry (Natasha) Groulx of Canton
Son – Roger R. (Kim) Groulx of Canton
Daughter – Pamela Groulx of Odessa, FL
Brother – Richard (Lori) Groulx of Canton
Grandchildren – Madison Groulx, Carson Groulx, Brandon Groulx, Josh (Katie) Groulx, Noah
Groulx, Hailey Rankin.
