Terri Jane Hicks-Patterson died Thursday July 14th after a hard
fought battle with pneumonia and other longstanding illnesses.
She was surrounded by the love and support of her family and
close friends.
Terri was born in Canton, Georgia on December 3rd , 1955 to
Lawrence Maxwell Hicks and Mary Jane Hicks. Her mother and
father, as well as her siblings, Teena Williams, Tony Hicks and
Tami Hicks preceded Terri in death.
Terri was a homemaker who together with LeeRoy Patterson
of Jasper, Georgia, built an amazing life of love and happiness.
Terri enjoyed spending time with her children and
grandchildren, watching and attending Nascar races and
shopping…especially shopping! If the grandkids had an event
she was always there to watch and support them. She adored
her extremely large family and the time they would spend
together and was always adamant that they all squeeze in for a
family photo. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her
and she has surely left us all with some wonderful memories
and hilarious stories to tell.
Terri is survived by her husband, LeeRoy Patterson, Son
Shannon Gibbs and wife Carol Gibbs, Daughter Beri Adams and
husband Jason Adams, Stepson John Patterson and wife Brandy
Patterson, and Stepdaughter Julie Green and husband Trent
Green. Grandchildren: Levi Gibbs, Logan Gibbs, Cole Adams,
Seth Adams, Tucker Green, Payton Green, Chassidy Patterson,
Cason Patterson, Mackenzie Bozeman and Kylee Bozeman and great grand daughter, Paisley Wilson.
