Velma Ruth Talmadge, age 95, of Canton, passed away on August 26, 2016, at her residence. Private services will be held at a later date. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Talmadge. She is survived by daughter Marilyn Wallis and son-in-law Mike Wallis of Canton, Ga., and granddaughter Kristi Ledford of Canton, Ga.
