Mr. Virgil ray Chewning, age 73 of Woodstock, Ga passed away on April 7, 2015 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. A memorial service for Mr. Chewning will take place Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10 AM at Liberty Church, address 1285 North Cobb Parkway, Marietta, Ga 30060. He is survived by wife Susan Chewning of Woodstock, Ga; sons Virgil Ray Chewning III of Lancaster, Ca, Joseph Edward Chewning of Lancaster, Ca, and Sean Marcus Simpson of San Antonio, TX; daughter Jennifer Griffin of Peoria, IL; brothers Jack Chewning of DuBois, Pa, Jerry Chewning of Ravena, Oh, Kenny Chewning of Punxsutawney, Pa; sister Joann Papinoclas; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
