Weldon Terry, 87, of Dekalb County , passed away May 1, 2010 at Dekalb  Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2010 at 3 P.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Canton, GA  with Rev. John Lummus, Rev. Bobby Padgett, Rev. Phillip Young, and Rev. Mike Murphy officiating.  Mr. Terry will lie in state at the church from 2:30 P.M.until the funeral hour.  Interment will be  in Macedonia Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at Darby Huey Funeral Home in Canton on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 3 P.M. – 9 P.M.  Weldon is survived by his wife, Ruthell Johnson Terry of Chamblee/Dunwoody; two sisters, Mrs. Colleen Terry Bobo of Dallas,Texas; Mrs. Elizabeth Terry Carter of Lawrenceville, GA;  many nieces, nephew, cousins, and a host of friends.   Mr. Weldon Terry was a resident of Dekalb County for over 60 years.  He was born and grew up in Forsyth County, GA and a long time member of Clairmont Baptist Church. He was self- employed many years at Auto Repair Center on Peachtree Industrial Blvd.  The caring staff of Darby Huey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
