William Hoy Beavers Jr., age 72 of Canton, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at his residence. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., and Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. The funeral will take place in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 1:00p.m. with Rev. Greg Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at lake Forest Memorial Park in Jasper. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Beavers of Canton, his son, Tommy (Tammy) Beavers of Ellijay, his daughter, Lisa (Mark) Hardman of Jasper, his mother, Lillie Hitt of Canton, his brothers, Milton "Bucky" Beavers of Canton, Kenneth Beavers of Woodstock, his sisters, Margaret McKinney of Villa Rica, Peggy (Frank) Farrell of Woodstock, Judy (Jim) DiPietro of Cartersville, his sister-in-laws, Jean Sims of Dahlonega, Sue Pieper of Elberta, AL., his brothers and sister-in-laws, Hugh and Francis Waters of Woodstock, Gary and Glenda Waters of Fairmount, his brother-in-law, Elvis Waters, his grandchildren, Derek Hardman of Cumming, Lexi Hardman of Jasper, Abbey Hardman of Jasper, Tiffany Longboat of Canada, Joshua Beavers of Jasper, Desiree Carpenter of Acworth, Kathryn Standard of North Carolina, and Nathan Gardner of Ellijay. Ten great grandchildren also survive. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
