Willie Greer Pirtle, 89 of Canton, GA passed away Monday March 3, 2014 at the Brian Center in Canton, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday March 8, from the Eubanks Funeral Home Chapel in Canton, TX. Interment will follow in the High Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 4, at Darby Funeral Home from 4:00pm- 8:00pm. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Gloria Jean Pirtle & Carlos Cabral, Miami, FL; Wanda Rae Pirtle & Dale Cronauer, Canton, GA; Sandra Leigh Pirtle, Honolulu, HI; son, Charles Edward Pirtle, Cartersville, GA; brothers, Curtis Jaye & Lois Greer, Burleson, TX; Malcom & Shirley Greer, Irving, TX; sisters, Thelma Greer & Clyde Lackey, Haltom City, TX; Frances Stringfellow, Tulsa, OK; Barbara Jean & Bud Bates, Goose Neck Creek, SC; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pirtle was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Edward Buddy Pirtle and daughter, Judy Ruth Pirtle Anderberg.
